Green Tea Brownies

Green tea is a popular drink in Japan and these delicious brownies bring that taste to your dessert.

Serving: 12 serving

Total Time: 35 to 40 minutes

Ingredients:

3 ounces white sugar

3/5 ounces butter, unsalted and melted

2 eggs, large

1 tablespoon green tea powder

2 ounces cake flour

½ cup chocolate chips or chocolate chunks

½ cup almond slices, toasted

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare an 8-inch pan by greasing the bottom and sides. Set the oven to 350-degrees.

Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients except 1 tablespoons of the toasted almond slices.

Step 3: Pour the mixture into the greased pan. Sprinkle the remaining toasted almond slices on top of the mixture before setting the pan in the oven and baking for 25 minutes.
